Intelligence is evident in being quick at understanding complex information and new ideas, displaying an openness to learning, and seeking out new information. Intelligent individuals are interested in expanding their skills and enjoy dealing with complexity.

Refusing to give up easily. Motivated individuals demonstrate perseverance on difficult tasks and go the extra mile to meet organizational goals. Motivated individuals set demanding goals and typically need less close supervision.
