Effective development plans align growth with the organization’s strategic competency needs and the individual’s career and life balance, interests and capabilities.
We work with HR, company leaders and individuals to ensure that our development plans identify the competencies required in the organization and ways to develop these competencies, both on the job and outside of job responsibilities.
We work collaboratively with the individual to create a formal career development plan with a clear path to his or her goals. We encourage employees to accept assignments outside their core responsibilities, and we can recommend local resources. We provide managers with formal training in coaching/mentoring and encourage managers to discuss development progress and refresh plans with each employee regularly throughout the year.
